Chenglian and Boya
The poetic drama Chenglian and Boya tells the story of the young Boya, who has grown weary of his official duties and resolves to rediscover music as a new path in life. He seeks out Chenglian, a renowned folk musician, to learn the art of playing guqin. However, Chenglian's teaching methods are extraordinarily intense; he shatters Boya's cherished guqin, plunging Boya into complete darkness and extinguishing his passion for music.
How will he navigate to find his opportunity? And what secrets does his legendary masterpiece, "High Mountain and Flowing Water," conceal?

It is a reimagination of the story of Achilles as a female and Trojan War, deconstructing values of war, heroes, and females. It shed lights on the different cultural meanings between Pyrrah as a female and Achilles under the name of the greatest hero. It also shows another possible choice in times of conflicts and an alternative perspective of the making of history.
