The Wreath of Achilles

The Wreath of Achilles is season 2 of series 'Approaches to Poetic Drama'. written by awarding-wining Chinese poet, honorary citizen of Greece Lan Lan, it is a reimagination of the story of Achilles as a female and Trojan War, deconstructing values of war, heroes, and females. It shed lights on the different cultural meanings between Pyrrah as a female and Achilles under the name of the greatest hero. It also shows another possible choice in times of conflicts and an alternative perspective of the making of history.

'Approaches to Poetic Drama' series, founded by a famous Chinese poet Huang Lihai, who is the founder of international poetry award People and Poetry. This concept focuses on the poetic space within a theatrical structure and intends to expand the boundary of form by contemparory theatrical methodologies, where we feel the lyrical beauty breathing.

“诗剧的读法”第二季《阿基琉斯的花冠》由著名诗人、希腊荣誉市民蓝蓝写作而成，是蓝蓝诗集《河海谣与里拉琴》中的重要组成部分。作品用荷马史诗的前半部分故事为素材和引子，以女性眼光和犀利的笔触，一步步解构了史诗中的战争观、英雄观和女性观，重新讲述了特洛伊战争的缘起，剖析了作为女性的皮拉和被赋予英雄之名的阿基琉斯之间迥然相异的文化含义。诗剧《阿基琉斯的花冠》以先锋的方式刻画出阿基琉斯的女战士形象，展现出诗人对东西方文明古国精神特质的探究。众多神话史诗中的角色以当代的视角一一登场：古希腊第一美女海伦，众神之王宙斯，英雄奥德修斯，神女卡吕普索，伊萨卡王后佩涅罗佩……

“诗剧的读法”系列，由“诗人与人——国际诗歌奖”的创始人、著名诗人黄礼孩创办，旨在探索“以诗入剧，以剧化诗”的舞台行为，通过当代剧场的方法论，在有创意的剧场结构中寻找展开诗意的空间，拓宽诗剧的边界和内涵，使诗歌的抒情在叙述中得到呼吸。
